About Us

We are a small kennel focusing on improving conformation while maintaining working ability. The border collie is a fantastic all around sport dog. We aim to produce dogs that can excel wherever they end up, whether that be as a pet, show, working, or sport home. Our dogs are raised in our home with our two cats.

Lauren grew up showing horses and livestock (meat goats, dairy goats, poultry, and rabbits) in 4-H. When Lauren started college, she knew it would be a while before she had the land and money to begin showing horses and breeding livestock. Instead, she opted to start showing dogs, beginning with the ultimate breed, the border collie. Lauren is an active member of the breed parent club, the Border Collie Society of America, where she serves as a member of the health committee.

Lauren has a B.S. in Biology and is currently working on a Masters in Public Health with a Veterinary Emphasis. She has spent nearly a decade working in all aspects of veterinary medicine, ranging from kennels to reception to veterinary assisting and, most recently, clinic management.

Lauren’s ultimate career goal is to become a board-certified theriogenologist (veterinary reproductive specialist) with a focus on advanced reproductive techniques in canines, equines, and bovines. She also owns and will soon start showing her APHA stallion, Carbon Copy Prints.

Eric grew up in a small town with a yard full of basset hounds. While border collies are a very different style of dog, Eric has grown to love them. He also raised and showed pigs in 4-H and worked briefly on a cattle ranch. Eric has a B.S. in Neuroscience and is currently pursuing his PhD in Neuroscience. He is our top puppy wrangler and is essential to our breeding and showing operation.
